A Trip to the AGO

A Trip to the AGO

This week we decided to go to infamous Art Gallery of Ontario, otherwise know as the AGO. The girls had fun exploring the symmetry (or lack of!) as well as the many patters found in the museum's visual collective. During the time of our trip, works by Trinidadian-Canadian artist Denyse Thomasos were highlighted alongside other exhibited talents. Here are photo's we took paired with the feelings felt during this experience.

"Visiting the AGO was a pleasure for me, I like looking at sculptures and paintings."

- Tasnim

"I liked being out with my friends and appreciating the artwork. I learned that art can be viewed differently by everyone, someone else may have different tastes than yours. "

- Ramisha

"It was fun going there. I really enjoyed spending time with all of the people. The art gallery was really beautiful and the captions for each painting was also amazing."

- Sameeha

"I haven't been to the art Gallery in a long time and I enjoyed going with all my friends,  I learned a lot about the art pieces and enjoyed looking at the pieces."

Silmat

Raidha

"Enjoyed looking at all the art work at the gallery. Fun experience with the people who also went. "

- Ryesha

" I liked travelling together. It was fun getting closer and taking pics on the street, I learned about lots of indigenous art pieces. "

- Muntaha

"I loved exploring the gallery and seeing all the creative and unique art pieces, Something I learned is that art is constantly changing. Recent art pieces have a more modern style while ones made in the 2000's have a more vintage/rustic style."

- Mahjabin

"Loved the food, not really interested in art but it was a great experience for the first time."

- Laiba
